HERITAGE DAY AT THE HISTORIC WHITE PLAINS PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH -39 No Broadway, White Plains
SUNDAY, JULY 5TH, 2015 at 10:00 am

  • On this day we recognize the Patriots of the American Revolution who are buried in the church graveyard and give thanks for the liberty that we enjoy.
  • The ceremony will begin at 10:00 am with a living history presentation by "Ann Fisher Miller" who was born in 1728 and who worshiped in this church. The church just celebrated its 300 year anniversary at the same location it was in 1776. "Mrs. Miller" will tell us what life was like before, during and after the American Revolution for her and her family right here in the White Plains area.
  • Then the ceremony will move into the graveyard where the Patriots names will be read as well as the Declaration of Independence. This is a wonderful tribute and moving ceremony especially so close to Independence day and in such an historic location. We hope you and your family will join us.
  • Light refreshments will be served at the conclusion.
